Wife, mother, Nonna and friend are all words that describe me. The longer I live, the more I realize that nothing else matters but seeking Him first. In the end what is eternal is all that really counts: faith, family and friends.
I am married to my college sweetheart and together we have raised four children. They are grown (ages 30 through 20) and live all over the globe but we stay close and I seem to talk to at least one of them everyday. We have also been blessed with a wonderful son-in-law and three sweet grandchildren.
We felt called to the adventure of homeschooling and that kept us very busy for 21 years. It was challenging but exhilarating; I was honored to spend each day with my kids. My husband and I have just entered the empty nest stage and we are finding it tougher than we expected. So many changes and so much to learn.
Besides spending time with my family, I am a gardener, artist and a writer. I write for magazines, devotional guides and I have more than a few books of my own that I hope to announce in print before too long. I also speak on occasion to women’s groups and MOPS organizations.
Have a question or just want to get in touch? I’d love to chat.
